Daughter Station Design

Daughter Stations are installed where a CNG fill station is desired but there is no natural gas pipeline. Natural gas is brought to the CNG station by mobile storage.  A daughter station compressor quickly and efficiently moves the natural gas from the mobile storage to a ground storage.  The daughter station compressor can also be used to directly fill vehicles.

ANGI daughter stations can be designed to:

Compression Systems – Some daughter stations are designed to maximize removal of gas from mobile storage.  Other systems are designed to minimize transfer time or to minimize power used during transfer.  ANGI has designed daughter stations for each type.

Gas  Management – The gas management system will fill ground storage from mobile storage.  As CNG at the site is dispensed, it will also remove gas from ground storage, compress it, then directly fill vehicles to insure complete fills.
