Press Release: Officials to open Marion county's first CNG fuel station (w/ ANGI Equipment)

Gasoline and diesel will no longer be the only fuel options for motorists in Marion County. On Tuesday, Sept. 10 at 11 AM, officials cut the ribbon on Marion's first compressed natural gas fuel station, the result of a public-private partnership between Marion County and Reliance Alternative Fuels Division LLC formed in September 2012. The CNG fuel station (3230 SE Maricamp Road, Ocala), one of only eight in the state open to the public, will support the county's fleet and will be available to private commercial fleets and personal vehicles. Marion County's station is the only CNG fueling facility between Tampa and Jacksonville.
