CNG America, a small private company that develops compressed natural gas (CNG) refueling infrastructure facilities and natural gas vehicle (NGV) conversions, recently joined with partner Sinclair Oil Corp./Bell Oil Co. to open Utah's 41st public-access CNG station.

The facility is located at Bell's Sinclair Truck Stop at 7100 Silver Creek Rd., in Park City, where interstate 80 and U.S. Route 40 meet. According to company owner Kim Hugie, this is CNG America's fifth natural gas station in the state, joining others in Salt Lake City, Lehi, Tremonton and Clearfield.

Equipment-wise, the lion's share of CNG infrastructure was supplied by ANGI Energy Systems. There are two dual-hose CNG dispensers at the fuel islands, with three hoses operating at 3,600 psi and one at 3,000 psi. Questar owns the natural gas distribution network that is connected to the Park City site, but Hugie secures his natural gas supply through a fuel broker.
