More CNG Grants in Pennsylvania

Love's Travel Stops, Silvi Concrete and Waste Management Benefit - The Office of Pennsylvania Governor Tom Corbett has publicized grants via the Commonwealth Financing Authority supporting six compressed natural gas fueling stations. "The proliferation of fueling stations is expected to result in reduced emissions, fuel savings, and the utilization of domestically produced natural gas," states a release. Love's - The ACE - Alternative and Clean Energy - program grants provide Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores with $885,910 for construction of a public CNG fueling station in Mifflin Township, Columbia County, $924,809 for a public CNG fueling station in Jonestown Borough, Lebanon County, and $924,809 grant for a public CNG fueling station in Middlesex Township, Cumberland County. Silvi Concrete - Grants to Silvi Concrete provide $244,222 for the construction of a public CNG fueling station at its concrete plant in Dowiningtown, and $244,222 to Silvi subsidiary Constructural Dynamics, Inc. for construction of a CNG fueling station at its concrete plant in Limerick Township. Waste Management - Last, Waste Management of Pennsylvania will recieve a $806,248 ACE grant to build a public CNG filling station with one public fast fill pump at the Grand Central Sanitation facility in Pen Argyl, near Bethlehem in eastern Pennsylvania. The station will include 52 private time fill pumps to support a 55 vehicle fleet of waste collection vehicles.
