Rose Tree Media School District converts buses to natural gas

Rose Tree Media School District held a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the school bus depot attached to Penncrest High School. The ceremony was to announce a new compressed natural gas bus fleet.

In a move to save natural resources a well as costs, the district converted a portion of its 74-vehicle fleet to compressed natural gas. A green ribbon was cut Friday morning to launch the 15 new and eight retrofitted buses and the fast-fill station that serves them.
