Thu, Nov 12th, 2015

On October 26, 2015, a grand opening ceremony was held at the new GAIN Clean Fuel CNG station located in Mississauga, Ontario.  It is the largest public CNG station in Canada and was commissioned through a partnership among C.A.T. Inc., Emterra, and U.S. Venture Gain Fuel Canada, ULC. The GAIN Clean Fuel-branded combination fast-fill/time-fill station will supply compressed natural gas, using ANGI’s robust re-fueling solutions,  to fuel C.A.T.’s fleet of 100 CNG trucks and Emterra’s fleet of more than 100 waste and recycling collection vehicles. The ANGI fueling system includes dual NG600E compressor packages with Ariel JGA/4 5-stage compressors, a Buffer/Matrix/Time fill panel with two time fill zones, a regenerating natural gas dryer, 6 storage vessels, and equipment monitoring and data logging through ANGI’s control and communication system.

“We are proud to be part of this unique project,” said Marie-Geneviève Poitras, Canadian Sales Manager at ANGI. “It serves the more established CNG refuse vehicle market while also supporting the emergence of Class 8 CNG trucks in Canada.”

For over 30 years, ANGI Energy Systems has been an industry activist and true believer in making CNG go from an alternative fuel to a viable standard vehicle fuel source for all NGV markets. ANGI supplies all of the components required for vehicle refueling and provides best in class fueling system solutions.
